HLAA: The Hearing Loss Association of America provides extensive resources on the emotional side of hearing loss, along with local chapters for peer support.
ALDA: The Association of Late-Deafened Adults offers information, referrals, and support groups specifically for adults who lose their hearing later in life.
NDC: The National Deaf Center provides an FAQ page with over one hundred articles and resources, including accommodations, events, and online learning, and much more.

The Department of Rehabilitation (DOR)
The DOR offers a wide range of vocational rehabilitation services to people who are deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened, or deaf-blind. The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Counselors are proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) to ensure direct communication with consumers who use ASL as their primary mode of communication. Additionally, you do not need to be a department consumer to receive services.

Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness (GLAD)
Offers free counseling in ASL for up to 12 sessions.
GLAD services include communication assistance, affordable senior housing, employment services, family outreach advocacy, independent living skills, peer counseling services, resources for community events, and more.

Hearing Aid Project – Give an Aid
Provides donated hearing aids to individuals who qualify financially and accepts monetary donations to support hearing healthcare.
Starkey Cares – Hear Now Program
Provides hearing aids to eligible low-income individuals through participating hearing care providers. Applicants who meet income requirements may receive hearing aids at little or no cost, with an application fee.
Hearing Aid Recycling & Donation- Lions Clubs International Eyeglasses & Hearing Aids Recycling
